A feature of SSL called SNI can be used on all modern browsers which does not require a dedicated IP address to install the SSL certificate. This feature is unsupported on Internet Explorer on Windows XP and will cause security warnings for users on that configuration.

It can also be used to separate yourself from other accounts on the server to avoid e-mail blacklists (Arris do also have other measures in place to reduce the impact of this).
